On October 12 th/2004, at the Nippising kennel club dog show our wonderful puppy girl Flash; aka Ch Kyon's Flash Lightning (Ch Kyon's True Patriot Love x Kyon's Time Flashes By) finished her championship from the senior puppy class by going WB, BOW and also Best puppy in Group for 5 pts. Flash had an astonishing show career, by first going WB, BOW and BOB, as well as Best puppy in group for 5 pts at the Owen Sound show in august -- and then repeating this same incredible feat at the Pineridge kennel club show in October. Flash is co-owned with Karen Donell.

On October 3rd/2004, at the Pineridge Kennel Club show our new and exciting boy Ollie; aka Ch Grenadier Northern Alliance (Am BIS Ch Pebwin XPDC x Ch Grenadier How Green My Valley) finished his championship by going back-to-back WD for 3 pts each. From before Ollie had a huge 5pt BOW at  the Golden Retriever Club of Toronto Specialty show in July. We thank Ollies' breeder Lisa McCabe, for letting us co-own this extraordinarily handsome boy! Ollie is now standing at Stud to approved females, here at Kyon kennels.

At the Golden Retriever club of Toronto Specialty show, on July 17th/04 the lovely Sailor, aka; Ch Grenadier Sail on Silver Girl (Ch Dewmist Davenport x Ch Grenadier Kyon Choir Girl) finished her championship in style, by first going 1st in open - and then WB for a huge 5 pt win. From before Sailor had a 2pt WB and also a 5 pts BOW, the latter from the Caledon show (the biggest all breed show of the year). We thank Sailor's Breeder and Owner Lisa McCabe of Grenadier Golden Retrievers for leasing this lovely girl to us!

On August 1st and 2nd/04 Nora; Ch Kyon's Artful Soul (Ch Dewmist Davenport (OS) x Ch Kyon's Artistic Impression) finished her championship at the Barrie Kennel Club , going back-to-back Winners Bitch. Nora's first set of points was a couple of weekends previous,  when showing for the very first weekend ever, she won Winners bitch and  Best of winners at the Ontario Regional Specialty on July 18/04 all the way from the Canadian Bred Class. Nora is co-owned with Linda Pernice of Davinci reg'd AKC Golden Retrievers.

At the Trois Riverie show on June 25/04 B-B aka now CH Kyon's Glory Be Good (Ch Kyon's Hot to Trot x Ch Kyon's Glory Glory Hallelujah) finished her championship with a nice WB, BOW and BOS for 5 pts!

At the Victoria  County kennel club on April 24/03:  California  Davey aka Ch Kyon's Fire And Ice (Ch Dewmist Davenport x Kyon's Kinship Flame) won another WD award! This win furthermore resulted in his championship, after being out showing for just a few short weekends. This classically English and light gold dog was never out of the ribbons and he even made it all the way to BOB and a Group 3dr in stiff competetion. The handsome California Davey is co-owned between his breeders Karin Klouman/Wally Barr and his owner Pauline Diane Atkinson. He will shortly be returning to his home in California, where he will be available at stud to approved females, with his owner Diane Atkinson.
