Kyon is happy to announce that our two fabulous imports from Sweden, Toni (Ch Dewmist Santorini OS) and Davey (Ch Dewmist Davenport OS) now have both qualified for the GRCC outstanding sire title. Their offspring to date have excelled in all fields of competition, from tracking titles, to Utily titles and obedience championships, to working and hunting titles (including WCX and Senior Hunter ) as well as numerous conformation championships.

We wish to thank our good friend Henric Fryckstrand for allowing us the wonderful opportunity and privilege of owning these two fantastic boys.

Also at this time we take a moment and fondly remember our dear friend, the late Jane Lunow (1945-1996), who was the original importer and co-owner of Toni.

New Champion! - Ch Kyon's A Time To Dance - "Matilda"

At only 17 months of age, on November 1st/ 2003 our young Matilda - Kyon's a Time to Dance - (Ch Dewmist Davenport X Ch Maltcairn Time to Shine Cher) finished her champion ship easily, going 1st Open, Winners bitch and Best of Winners at the Trillium dog show. Matilda is owned by her breeders Karin Klouman and Wally Barr and is co-owned by Louise Grant.

New Tracking Dod (AKC)! - Kyon's Strom Chaser TD - "Hunter"

On Sunday October 12th 2003 and at the tender age of only 10 months old; HUNTER aka; Kyon's Storm Chaser (Ch Dewmist Davenport X Kyon's Savannah Storm) earned his AKC Tracking Dog title. Hunter was trained and handled to his title by his proud owner Janice Ulrich.

New Companion Dog (AKC)! - Kyon's Riverwatch Spring Tide CD - "Ty"

On august 29th/03 Kyon's Riverwatch Spring Tide CD (Ch Dewmist Davenport X Kamlyn Hell on Wheels at Kyon) achieved her american CD. This title was easily achieved with a 3rd placement in the Novice B class, with scores of 186 , 188 and 186 1/2 on August 22, August 23 and August 29. Ty is owned and trained by Selina Marx and was handled to her title by Anne Jones.

New champion! Ch Kyon's A Time to Sing - "Chantell"

On June 28th/03 Ch Kyon's a Time to Sing (Ch Dewmist Davenport X Ch Maltcairn Time to Shine Cher) finished her championship at only 13 months of age, going Winners Bitch/Best Of Winners and Best Of Breed from the open bitch class. Chantell was handled to her title by her owner Louise Grant .

New champion! Ch Kyon's Miss Daisy - "Daisy"

On June 20th/03 Ch Kyon's Miss Daisy (Ch Dewmist Davenport X Shaynedoro Kyon Colour purple) finished her championship in fine style taking a 3 point Winners Bitch. The next day, as a special, Daisy also won BOS. Daisy is owned by Helen Lightbody and was trained and handled to her title by Norm Fargo.

New Swedish Champion! Ch Dewmist Silverinda - "Siesta"

On the 16th of July Can Ch & Swe Sh Ch Dewmist Silverinda "Siesta" (Ch Inassicas Song of Songs - Ch Dewmist Shade of Pale) finished her Swedish championship by getting the CC at the Swedish Kennel Club International All breed dog show. Siesta lived with us for a good part of 2001 and was handled in Canada by Jennifer McAuley and in Sweden always by her owner Ulrika Zetterfeldt. We are so looking forward to see her producing some KYON pups in the future who will come and live with us here in Canada!

New champion! Ch Kyon's Morning Haze at Davinci - "Hazel"

We are so pleased to announce another KYON champion: Ch Kyon's Morning Haze at Davinci (Hazel) (Ch Dewmist Santorini - Ch Maltcairn's Rise'n Shine at Kyon) who finished quickly through the month of May 2003, always handled by Graeme Burdon. Hazel's wins were the following: at the Arnprior show (May 10) 2 pts (BOW), at the Hochelega show (May 18th) 3 pts (BOW) - and finally at the Society de Canine de Quebec (May 28th) a big 5 pts !! (again BOW). Hazel is owned by Linda Pernice of Davinci goldens.

New champion! Ch Kyon's Illicit Love - "Liza"

Ch Kyon's Illicit Love (Ch Kyon's Hot Bugsey - Ch Kyon's Passionate Embrace), Liza finished her championship with a BOB from the open class at the Dorchester show on May 9th/03. She was owner-handled to her title by her co-owner Bruce Brown. Liza has also many puppy wins to her credit, including BPIS and BPISS, as well as 9 points earned from the puppy classes. Always handled by her co-owner, Liza is also owned by her breeders Karin Klouman and Wally Barr.

New champion! Kyon's Artistic Expression - "Eleanor"

Ch Kyon's Artisitc Expression (Ch Kyon's Escape Artisit - Ch Kyon's No Smoke Without Fire), Eleanor, finished her championship with ease, and a BOS over specials, at the St Catharines show on May 2nd/03. On her way to her championship Eleanor achieved a BOB from the open class as well as a group 3rd. Eleanor is owned by her breeders Karin Klouman and Wally Barr.
