First and foremost;

Our very special boy Ch Kyon's Passionate Sheaster aka SHEASTER (Ch Sherhaven's Sheaman at Kyon CD (OS) X Ch Kyon's Hearts Afire)  showed his heart out, the very first time in the ring as a special. On Saturday July 17th he made "the final cut" in the specials ring. And on Sunday July 18th he went all the way to top honors, winning the whole show going BISS handled by Rebecca MacAuley!! We are so proud of our boy !

Our lovely girl Ch Kyon's Glory Be Good aka; B-B (Ch Kyon's Hot to Trot X Ch Kyon's Glory Glory Halleujah) was also shown as a special, again for the first time. On Sunday July 18th, she was in strong contention for top honours, as she made the final cut amongst all the lovely female specials. B-B was handled by Ulrika Zetterfeldt.

Ch Grenadier Northern Alliance aka; OLLIE (Am Ch Pebwin XPNC x Can Ch Grenadier How Green My Valley) - his first time in the Canadian ring (at barely 18 months old) did some spectacular winning; on July 17th he won the big open dog class and then went all the way to Winners dog and then to Best of Winners! What a start to his championship! Ollie then went on to win the open dog class the next day as well, and from there on he achieved the Reserve Winners Dog award. Ollie is bred by Lisa McCabe of Grenadier Goldens and we are delighted to announce that he is also co-owned by Karin Klouman and that he is now in residence at Kyon Kennels. Ollie was handled by our regular handler Jennifer MacAuley.

Ch Grenadier Sail on Silver Girl aka; SAILOR (Ch Dewmist Davenport (OS) X Ch Grenadier Kyon Choir Girl) finished her championship in great style - going all the way 1st open female and then Winners Bitch on the July 17th specialty. Sailor was handled by Rebecca MacAuley. She is owned and bred by Lisa McCabe of Grenadier golden retrievers, but has lived with us for the past year and she is currently on lease to us.

Ch Kyon's Artful Soul aka; NORA (Ch Dewmist davenport (OS) X Ch Kyon's Artistic Impression). On July 17th she recieved 2nd in the large Canadian Bred Class, while on Sunday July 18th she won the Canadian bred class, then took Winners Bitch and finally Best of Winners... not bad for her first time in the ring! Nora is co-owned with Linda Pernice of Davinci Golden Retrievers. She was handled by Rebecca MacAuley.

Also we wish to proudly recognize the following dogs who all placed in their respective classes in strong competition:

Ch Kyon's One of a Kind placed 2nd in the Canadian Bred Class on July 18th. Solo was handled by Ulrika Zetterfeldt.

Tashora the Odds are on Kyon WON the Junior puppy dog class in sweeps and placed in the regular classes as well. Euchre was handled by Ulrika Zetterfeldt.

Kyon's Flash Lightning placed in the regular junior puppy class both days. Flash was handled by Rebecca McCauley.

Ch Kyon's Analyze That placed in the regular 12-18 months puppy-dog sweeps and regular classes. Dr Phil was handled by Rebecca McCauley.

Kyon's Flash Maximillian placed both in sweeps and the regular junior puppy class. Max was handled by Rebecca MacAuley.
